Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains what Gaminify (https://gaminify.com) collects, why, and what you can do about it. Please also read our cookie policy, which covers the storage side in more detail.

Who we are

Gaminify is the data controller for this website. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights below, contact support@gaminify.com.

What we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect names, addresses or payment details. What we do handle is:

  • Server logs. Your IP address, browser type, the pages you requested and the time. Our host records these automatically. We use them to keep the site running and to spot abuse, and they are held for a short period before deletion.
  • Local storage in your browser. Your recently played games and favourites. This stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and disappears when you clear your browser data.
  • Anything you send us. If you email us or use the contact form, we keep that message so we can reply.

Why we are allowed to do this

Where the UK/EU GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site for server logs, on your consent for non-essential cookies and personalised advertising, and on your consent or our legitimate interest in replying to you for correspondence.

Games and other third parties

Games are embedded from our game distribution partners and run inside a frame on the page. Our catalogue is currently supplied through GamePix. GamePix and the individual game developers may set their own cookies and collect their own data under their own policies, which we do not control. See the GamePix privacy policy.

Advertising

This site is supported by advertising. Ad partners, including Google and its partners, may use cookies or similar technologies to measure and to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the providers that make the site work - our hosting provider, our game distribution partners (currently GamePix), and our advertising partners - and only as far as each needs.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where the UK/EU GDPR applies, those transfers rely on the safeguards each provider has put in place, such as standard contractual clauses.

Children

This site is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country). If you believe a child has given us personal information, email support@gaminify.com and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. California residents may request disclosure or deletion, and may opt out of "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising. Write to support@gaminify.com and we will respond within the period the law allows.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
